Lipstick : wipe with a cloth soaked in ether.
Dry glue : rub simply with a piece of crepe.
fresh blood : rub the stained leather with very cold water containing a few drops of vinegar
Grease : apply a mixture of trichlorethylene and "Terre de Sommières" stain removal powder. Leave to dry and then brush.

If your shoes are very wet, stuff them with newspaper and tie up the laces if they have any. To stop the leather shrinking or cracking, just place them in a warm room but at least two metres away from any heat sources. When the shoes are dry, brush them with a hard brush and wax them or apply a cream.
